Create your own camping checklist with our illustrated downloads.

You can’t have a camping book or website without a checklist.

The Let’s Go Camping Guide is filled with checklist.

Have you ever gone camping without a checklist? How did it work out? Chances are, something was left behind. Even with a list, so many things are missed, or too many things are unnecessary. Creating a checklist may seem insignificant, but for some of us, it is an art.

Camping with a checklist makes everything so much easier. There is a fair amount of lists in the marketplace, so choose one that works best for your camping needs. In addition, having a checklist through the website and newsletter offers the opportunity to showcase how the list works with the Let’s Go Camping Guide. As an illustrator, creating a visual checklist is a fun way to break down all camping necessities in an organized manner.

Campers love to share!

Checklists are a big part of the Let’s Go Camping Guide, you can download the master list plus other free checklists with the password printed in the guidebook. Let’s Go Camping Guide

The first thing to do with a checklist is to have a master list of all the things you need to bring along. Page 66 and 67 of the Let’s Go Camping Guide list almost everything you need, plus there is space to add your own personal camp need.
You can download the free checklist by purchasing the Let’s Go Camping Guide; find the password for Camp Downloads on page 67 of the guidebook.

Once you have your master list, break it down into camp meals, camp gear, bedding, personals, kitchen supplies.

Then take a look at your list to start the “really do we need to bring this” search for items that can stay home.

A revised camping checklist saves money and time. Perfect for enjoying the camping experience with the least amount of camp ache.

Create Your Own List with Camp Essentials

Sometimes
you want to create your list,
not just check off a list
created for you.

Meal Planning Checklist. Create a blueprint for the first two days of meals if you are shopping for food supplies closer to the campground upon arrival. The meal plan should include everything for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and fireside dessert. The first day is usually consumed with travel, packing out, and getting adjusted, so snacks, lunch, and dinner may be the first thing on your meal planning for day 1.

Day 2 should include all meals; this will help with your grocery list once you know what you need to put on it. However, if you plan the whole week's dinner, leave a day open for discovery, roadside fruit stands, local markets, and wineries.
