Getting around our campground

Let’s Go Camping Guide-working on a sales pitch.

Sales Pitch

The Let’s Go Camping Guide is about the basics, just the basics. Every camper is different, from food to style, but the one thing most campers have in common, from boondocking to glamping, is the goal to fine-tune the adventure. Creating the camping book took 3 years, with all illustrations, camp notes and checklist; the idea of keeping it whimsical but filled with information was essential; having it work with the website is a bonus.

There are many camping campground websites out there, from how to camp, where to camp and why to camp. This website is about the enjoyment of the camp. So thank you for taking a look at our pages.

Our Camp Pages work with the book!

In the book find Just the Basics on the website the basics, will take on First Night Meals, Showers, Camp Kitchens.

Chapter 21 is about Campgrounds, the website will showcase a few favorite campground memories.

Blue Jay waiting for a peanut El Capitan State Park

Hey let me in just looking for some peanuts. This bluejay came by to visit with us most of the days in the campground, even landing on a fellow campers head while we lounged around in the campsite. At some point believe it or not a camper walking by asked if that was our bird. Camping is filled with adventure and a lot of laughter. Note bluejays love peanuts.

Pop-Up
on over to the
Let’s Go Camping Guide book
and enjoy our pages.

Our camp home is a pop-up & a classic Ford Econoline Van, called the Van Tiki but there are times to check into a cabin or drop a trailer into a campground. No matter the ride the most important thing to remember is the list.

Checklist

A checklist is a significant factor in camping; creating one that works for your camp needs is essential. We break it down with Getting Ready, Camp Kitchen; it’s all about the Food, Pet Notes. In addition, there is a checklist for Beach Camping, Desert Camping, Table Settings. Finally, pages 66 & 67 are a checklist of all of our camping needs. Downloadable PDF checklists are available with camp code on page 67.

The Lets Go Camping Guide is all about the basic enjoyment camping provides. Camping is better every time you try it but it is best with a checklist.
