Looking for a camping book that loves the campground?
October in the campground.
Camping Road Trip
Take a walk on the beach and find a few tide pools.
October is the last chance to visit some campgrounds as the season moves into the winter months, enjoy the crisp clean air, sights, and foliage before snow covers the mountains and valleys with magic.
Drive into the National Parks with lakes, streams, and fall greenery, preparing for the months ahead. Take long winding roads to unforeseen places. Stop by a scenic outpost or simple do nothing at all but enjoy the change of seasons.
Get out your jackets, and double up on blankets and sleeping gear. Pull out the hats and boots; don't forget the socks and mittens. Looking to warm up your tents, try a hot water bottle or bed warmer. Remember to keep your rain fly over your tent with a layer or two on the tent's floor to keep inside dry and clean.
October camping is a warm layering experience finished with amazing sunsets, hot chocolate, and s'mores by the fireside.
Not to late to take a road trip!
